SWIMMING AND DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

FACILITIES:             MISD Natatorium for diving.

                                    Oak Point for swimming with separate pool space for warm-up and warm-down.

 

DIVING:                    Diving Championships are held: Thursday January 28th, 2009.

                                    The diving competition will use 2009-2010 National Swimming Federation Rules.  

                                    Warm-up Time 11:30-12:55 pm

                                    Meet Start          1:00 pm

Fees:                           Adults: $5       Children: $2

                                    Dive sheets are due: Monday, January 25th by noon. 

 

COMPETITION:      ALL UIL RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL APPLY

                                     

SWIMMING:            Swimming Championships are held: Saturday January 30th, 2010.   The swimming competition will use 2009-2010 National Swimming Federation Rules for all events.  All U.I.L. rules will be in effect. 

Warm-up    

9:00am-9:30 am    All Plano Schools and Wylie

9:30am-10:00 am       McKinney Boyd, Jesuit and Allen

                                    Relay Starts/Starts   

10:00am-10:15 am     Each team 1 Lane

10:20am                      Senior Recognition

                                    10:30am                      Meet Start

                                    Coaches/Officials Meeting @ 10:15am

 

ENTRIES:      Please use entry forms provided in UIL Manual OR HYTEK-DISK and HARD COPY.  HYTEK is preferred.  Each individual may compete in a maximum of four (4) events; one or no more than two of which may be individual events.  Each school may enter a maximum of four entries in individual events.  Each school is limited to 1 relay in each relay event.

                                    *****Events and times may not be changed once the psych sheet is released; athletes shall be disqualified from their events and removed from the meet*****

HOSPITALITY:         Hospitality for Coaches and Officials will be available.

 

ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries must be received by 5PM on Saturday,

 January 23rd, 2009. 

 

ENTRY FEES:           There are no fees for the District level meet.

 

***SWIMMERS WHO COMPETE IN ANY EVENT FOR J.V. DISTRICT MEET WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN DISTRICT MEET.******
