Plano Senior Wildcat Swimming & Diving
*Tryouts will be held the first week of school on August 24th-30th. On Monday the 22nd class will meet and paperwork must be turned in before you may tryout, come prepared to run on Monday. All 9th/11th graders as well as anyone new to the district must have a physical. Teams will be set late afternoon of the 30th and are determined by the PSHS coaching staff. All practices/classes meet at the Plano Aquatic Center.
*Swimmers/divers must have their own equipment (suits, goggles, caps and towels) for tryouts. You must be able to swim; experience in competitive swimming is preferred, but not required.
*Varsity Swimming will meet in the morning 7:15-8:45am (1st Period) and Junior Varsity Swimming in the afternoon 3:30-4:30pm (7th Period). *It does not matter which class you are in for tryouts, schedule changes may be made after the teams are set*
*All Divers will practice at Oak Point Recreation Center each morning from 6:00-8:00am
*Tryouts will consist of swimming the following events: 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, 100 Back, 100 Breast, 100 Fly, 200 I.M. and a test set.
*Due to pool space and team size, cuts may be made in order to set each team.
